In 2018, Address brought together twenty sculptures Chicago-based artist Richard Rezac produced over the last two decades. Presented together, they demonstrated the artist’s ongoing engagement with the sculptural logic of geometry and the elusive mechanisms of interpretation.
Pictured on the poster, Untitled (Ren Screen), 2018-2018, is the artist’s largest interior work to date. In its entirely, Untitled (Ren Screen) serves aesthetic and intellectual ends as well as utilitarian ones. It was conceived and executed specifically for the Renaissance Society because Rezac felt the need to devise his own system for managing the large space.
